How to Use
Enter ratio terms:
- Two-term: e.g., 12:8 → 3:2
- Three-term: e.g., 6:9:12 → 2:3:4
- Decimals: Automatically scaled to whole numbers first
How It Works
Find the GCD of all terms, then divide each term by the GCD. For decimals: multiply all terms by 10^n to remove decimal points first, then simplify.
Common Uses
- Recipe scaling (2:1 flour to sugar)
- Screen aspect ratios (16:9, 4:3)
